cream together:
6 T butter/applesauce/oil(whatever your preferance is)
1/2 c honey/sugar (your preferance)
add:
3 eggs
2t vanilla
sift in and alternate with banana mix
1c whole wheat flour(just what I use I think you can use allpurpose)
1t salt
2t B.S.
1/4 t nutmeg (I use less I really dont like the taste that 1/4 gives)
1 1/2t cinnamon (I use a bit more)
Banana mix:
3 mashed ripe Bananas
3T cold water
add:
1/2 c ground nuts (I dont use any)
about <3/4 bag of chocolate morsels (to your chocolate preferance)
mix well POUR into loaf pan bake 350 for 1 hour or till wooden toothpick comes out clean.

by the way I usually use applesauce and honey.

The kids up the street seem to love it and so does the munckin and I, However the husband seems to think it is a waste of Chocolate and bananas to put them together... he has no sense of adventure. Let me know what you think.

Chocolate...Banannas....bread.... my three favorite things . I think I am running to the grocery store to get the ingredients. I love that you use whole wheat flour.

This sounds *delicious*!!! Thanks for sharing! :-D Besides liking the whole wheat over all-purpose flour, I like how the recipe can take honey instead of sugar.
