Not sure of what you're talking about, but I know that here at Scarby, the "front lawn" in front of where our hostel is located is pretty much Wench/Rogue territory. We chat, we sometimes sing, if we can get a drummer, we dance, etc. Kinda like that front porch party.

I meant an offical guild place within a faire with buildings or a fence and shade. kitchen or cooking place, storage. that type of thing.

Currentlly at KCRF, we don't have a very active local. Our hostel has been unofficial (haven't heard yet if we'll be able to use the same unofficial place this year!) Someone else would have to speak up for the other faires under Local 29.

That ususally is a Friends of Faire thing. they call it the garden. In NY, we had a tent that we could use for storage and whatnot and we always had someone there watching our stuff. There was also cold water avail for like a quarter a bottle.

Unfortunately, for a guild type thing similar to this, it would take money. And a way to govern such a place. It's not out of the realm of possibility, but it really depends on your people. I have to admit, I really do like to have a place to go throughout the day to get out of the heat and have a few quiet moments.
