yes, it's true... we breed Mannequins here in Texas to be proprietary about the clothing they wear and educate them to strike anyone and anything that gets in their way. We're breeding a new soldier to take up arms, their own mind you, and eventually we'll be able to take over the world!!!!

BWAHAHAHAAAAA!!!! KNEEL AND GROVEL WORMS, BEHOLD OUR MIGHTY MIGHT MANNEQUIN ARMY!!!

and she waited over a year to file I'm sorry if I was her first off I would not have waited so long and if I was the sales assosicate taking the shirt off I would not have allowed her near me while I was removing it cause those things arent easy to take apart and put together...

Hey, this is the world we live in! It's the latest trend in gang activity, first you have Hell's Grannies and the Baby Snatchers then roving gangs of Keep Left signs..

She's probably has two years to file before statute runs out.

Depending on her injuries, she may have been waiting to see either how everything was healing (especially if scars are involved) or to have the dental work done.

It's really not that unusual. In a lot of cases (I see this at work all the time), settling a bodily injury claim too *soon* can often be to the person's detriment.

Did she wait a year to file suit or did it just take that long to come to court? When I had my car accident it took about 2 years to come to court but we started paperwork almost immediately.

Apparently, to file.

The big difference between her and what you guys went through is that all during the process of you waiting to get to trial, the various adjusters were asking for reports, sending you for evaluations and monitoring your medical process, yes? So, basically, they had a running record of how you were or were not recovering.

This woman probably did not have that -- just her own medical people. I'll wager there will be various evaluations *now*, but she wouldn't have had that kind of monitoring.

Wow that is strange! Yeah you're right, I had to continuously go for tests, treatments etc. Hmm, it is a bit suspicious she waited so long although maybe she's one of those non suing types who got convinced to do it by friends and family. A rarity I know but it reminds me of hubby's little Irish granny went into this ratty hospital near London for a knee operation and they proceeded to first put the thing in upside down, then they did it backwards before having to go in and finally set it right and she ended up having all this extra bone shaved off so she had to go around with one platform type shoe in order to walk or stand upright. They also screwed up her hip. The family was screaming that she sue because since then she's had to go in for numerous problems resulting from the operation but she never did.
