I'm usually a fan of wildlife, but these buggers are vicious and they're attacking, unprovoked!
Time to bring out the D-Con flavored raccoon treats, I think! Or just start shooting the (most likely) rabid bassas.
My lack of sympathy may stem from the rabid possum that took up residence in my outdoor trash can this week. ::whistle::

Pepper spray. Raccoons are smart little buggers. These need to be killed. Animals don't kill out of malice. (primates are the only ones who practice murder) They need to be provoked thru a threat to either territory or food supply. There's something very wrong with this group of 'coons. It makes you wonder if the cats were maybe eating the baby coons while the parents were away....huh.
