'Nise,

Congratulations! The design and layout of the site look nifty. Some of the links (especially those back to the home page) don't work every time you click on them.

While you didn't specifically ask for any feedback, I'm a nosey wench and am going to offer my opinions. Just *please* keep in mind--opinions are free--and worth what you pay for 'em.

The jewely shown is lovely! Different from the stuff I have seen around faire and I drooled over it.

However, when I clicked on a thumbnail to get a closer look at a piece.. WOW! The individual pages take a looooong time to load up (impulse shoppers might not wait !) and when the page did load, it was overwhelming. The close up is SO close up that the black fabric appears as visual noise and the jewely looks distored. The colors, etc, aren't shown the their wonderful best. While I love the idea of a super-close up, it's hard to get an idea of what these pieces really look like with the current photos. Perhaps you'd want to use these Super-Duper-Extra-Up-Close photos as the third photo, and put a mid-range in between?

If I've stepped on toes, I'm sorry. Do not mean to offend. It's just that your stuff is sooo pretty, it should be shown off!!

First let me say that I know what you are going through. I also know you don't need any bad feedback...I have been where you are and right now we are only adding to my website and it is a PAIN to deal with....but the problems are there so......Ok...here is my two pennith worth.

I think the larger picture is too large. I don't know if there is anything you can do about it, but I'd try to do something. As much as I wanted to see your site...I won't wait for the big picture to load...it just took too long.

Your things are amazing....I can only say nice things about them.

I hope you understand that this is said with concern for you and the best site you can put out there so you will sell, sell, sell!

Respectfully given.

No offense taken at all! as for the up and down, :( I'm not sure what is going on, however hopefull tonight all off the pics will be loaded and it will be up for everyone. I've been uploading a lot! As for the huge pics  I didn't realize just how big they were untill I loaded the last updat at about 2 am last night. They have been fixed and are much smaller! ie 10 inches instead of 24!
The home links, huh, I'll check into that. I hope to have better ordering information up soon, and right now the only jewelry loaded in necklaces. Braclets, earrings and sets should be up later tonght.
Thank you all for the positive feedback and the negative. I'm pretty new to web sales so this is all to the best as I make the transition from booth to web.

Oooh, jewelry. Allow me to slobber.

The necklaces look fabulous, and I'll definitely be back to look at them in closer detail, but I wanted to comment on a couple of things since I know how hard it is to tweak a site so it loads as fast as possible, and yet looks nice.

The link to the site you listed in your message didn't work for me, but when I typed it in, no problem. Weird, huh?

On your catalog pages, you've got the pictures of the necklaces loading in full size, but displaying smaller. That's fine for people on cable, but on dial-up, it takes forever for each picture to load. Also, the pictures appear to be in .png format. You might want to convert to jpg--they compress way down and load much faster.

The layout is nice and clean, though, and the jewelry is gorgeous. I have to agree that the slowness in loading might turn some shoppers off, and that's a shame because the designs are so worth waiting to see!

Good luck with the site. I'm sure once you get it tweaked, it'll be very popular.
