Is there any word on auditions for cast? I haven't been able to find anything on the main site. Also, is anyone going to Sarasota Faire in November? (As well as the Pirate Festival..)

Wow, I didn't know all that was going on, I thought I'd missed all the FL faire events. I just moved to Brevard County over on the East Coast six months ago (damn already?) and can't seem to find much info about the goings on outside of Miami area faires. Can someone assist this wenchling?:)

:) After being graciously allowed to wench Captain Saffron (swoon) @ MiRF, I'm hooked. There's an event somewhere near Jacksonville, I hear. -shrug- Still new to this state myself. I've only been here since April.

LOL yeah me too, we got here around late April/early May:) I've been to renfaires before (mostly the NYRF) but haven't wenched yet since getting pinned about 4 years ago so I'm raring to go:-D

:) At least you've got your pin! Hopefully I'll get it before the next Faire. I'm patient. And you'll love it. Just a word of advice: when wenching in front of the Queen, a wench herself, be sure to never turn around and assume she's finished talking. Very embarassing to find out she's still chatting with you and you're oblivious.

ROFL duly noted:-D Hang in there for your pin, when that little package comes in the mail it's like Christmas:-) I thought I was just gonna get a pin and certificate, really didn't expect the other goodies so it was a real nice surprise:)

How cool would it be if it really was Christmas?
Anyway, I'll help with a wenching in your honor at MDRF this weekend. ;) I'll whisper into his ear that it's from 21. :D

dunno about auditions for Barf, since I don't do cast, but I should be at Sarasota. should be being the operative word. There are a bunch of smaller shows that pepper the state of Florida. Season starts in Nov.
You might want to try Tavares--the Lady of the Lakes medieval faire. that's an east coast show. It's the first weekend of Nov.

Do you live near the faire, by chance? I need a place to stay overnight November 10th. :) I think you replied to the job at Knightly Garb(or something like that)? So did I. :D
But also, if anyone is IN Sarasota, don't suppose I could bum a wenchly housing could I?

I did reply. I'm not sure I'm taking the gig, though, because I totally spaced on the fact that I'd promised to work for someone else--and I've not yet heard from her if I was needed on not. IF I make it down there, it's entirely possible I can offer lodgings of some sort. My own home is about an hour and a half north of the site, near St. Petersburg.
keep in touch...we'll play it by ear. :)
