Ok, I was unable to make the get-together this weekend due to being in Austin for a family b-day party. We went to the Zachary Scott theatre for a performance and I saw an ad for the Flaming Idiots; I thought, "Cool!" until I read the text and realized THEY ARE QUITTING! This winter will be the last time you can see the Flaming Idiots in person.
I am planning on going down thereand I wanted to get sort of a poll on if anyone else might be interested in convening on the show. The show runs November 28th through January 4th and tickets run $28-35 but if we have a group of 10 or more, we can get a group discount.
This wouldn't have to be official or anything, but I just wanted to get the word out for those of you who love the Idiots that THE END IS NEAR!
Anyway, if you are, or know of anyone who is interested in making the show, let me know and we can try to pick a weekend. I've got family near Austin so out-of-towners could potentially crash with me if I have prior warning.
