I'll post mine when I get home tomorrow. It's just amazing to see how styles have changed and all in the span covered by the pictures. And to see everyone's taste in clothes, hair, etc.

LADY A!!!

I'll bet you were beautiful.

 Thank you for the compliment. I never saw myself as beautiful, especially at a young age. I didn't fit the "norm" of that time. I was too outlandish....

For example, I was the only girl at the prom to wear a suit. Custom made, of course, by my mom. Black linen with a lavender satin camisole that was overlayed in lace and embroidered with swarovski crytals and beads. My father bought me these magnificent Italian patent leather heels with an open-toe. Very 50's and after, my boyfriend and I skipped the parties at the dance clubs and went to see Bobby Short at the Carlyle. I never did fit in....

Which is why all my pictures from then are packed in a box....

Did you expect something different from me?

You think that photo is impressive, you should see it in person.

This is the closest I have to a Senior pic. I am the one on the left, with the cross necklase and the flat hair. This was taken in 1994. If only I were that thin again.

This is my favourite apart from the one that has my sisters in it (I'm a triplet) but I can't find one of that one so here's my senior pic!::yay::

My hair is much blonder now, though it isn't ridiculously blonde. I kinda wish it was that colour again, I liked it.

Heh, that's what sets you above the rest, your daring to be different! I wanted to dress as a vampire & go in a hearse instead of limo for my prom, or wear combat boots & a camo prom dress & rapel out of a helicopter to the Waldorf-Astoria, but my bf at the time was ultraconservative....at least i got to wear a tie-dyed prom dress.
As for fitting in, I did everything i could NOT to...purposely make myself a square peg & scream bloody murder if an attempt to make me conform to the norm was made....and ppl would STILL copy stuff i did!!! i inadvertantly set trends i had NO intention of sharing! Grr!

LADY A!!!

I'll bet you were beautiful.

Assuming she was half as lovely as she is now... I'd say very much so.

As for my senior pic... If anyone in Indianapolis could track down my mother... she has them all.

The only thing I have that is even remotely close to my senior pics is right here:
http://www.dajimster.com/images/dressblues.jpg

That was taken in... um... January '94. I graduated May '93.

Now, compare that to this:

She won't let me (or any sibling) take photos from the house.

I still have the same hairstyle--my hair grows so fast that trying to do anything else with it is a waste of time and money--but now my hair is almost totally white from my ears forward. The back is still almost completely dark.

And CAP'N--hummina hummina hummina!! Woo hoo!

Finally found mine, taken 1972. Yes, that's a black velvet drapey thing I'm wearing. It's really funny, but except for the hair color and the fact that I get my eyebrows waxed, I don't look all that much different now.

When I find one of me in the graveyard, I'll post it, too.
