I can't see it here at work, but I'm going to guess that it's the superbowl spot? There's been a lot of flak in the news about it and how up in arms the fast food workers are about the 'demeaning' nature of the ad.

He's sunk pretty low, hm? to be advertising for a car insurance company. Last I heard, his latest album only sold like 6500... *snerk*

I don't see it demeaning anyone but him... It makes is seem that now that he's not with Britney, he's only qualified to make fries...

Frankly, fast food workers need to get their collective head out of their asses. It's not brainsurgery, it's not rocket science. It's minimum wage, menial and most people who take those jobs take them because they are not qualified for anything else and didn't go to college.

Yeah. The point isn't that working a job like that means you suck. The point is for him to have had so much and fallen so far...in that sense it would suck to work in a burger joint.

The outrage is just another in an endless line of examples that we now live in a world where you can't poke fun at anything anymore without somebody getting in a twist.

As far as the vid...I do think in a way it's kind of tragic how he's not really anything other than the "soon-to-be-former-Mr. Spears". On the flip side of that...he almost did it to himself really. His behavior during the realtionship was all about soaking the media machine...and now it's decided to feed on him, instead of sustaining.
