Question for Crimson Pirate fans

We're thinking of doing new black T-shirts with Red Polly Roger on the front and a saying on the back.

1) Is that something you might buy

and
2) What would you like to see on the back?

Some suggestions have been:
It's YOUR day in the barrel
It's MY day in the barrel
Prepare to be boarded
Got Rum?
Got Grog?
Pillage first THEN Plunder
Pirate Booty

Any thoughts?

I'd absolutely buy a new Polly (I thought we talked about it being a white Polly on black shirt as well, though the red is more appropriate.)

My suggestion for front/back:

Big Polly on the back
Small "The Crimson Pirates" on the pocket spot on the front.

*G* Can you put "Your Day In the Barrel" under the Polly? ;-)

But I would prefer (to be a pain in the pirate booty) to have polly on the back with the got rum? in smallish logo over left breast (teehee I said breast)

Something not too family un-friendly. Most of the Crimson Pirate music is family oriented and I know my kids want whatever they can get that is affiliated with the CP....

If you go with the "Your Day in the Barrel" idea, that would bump out part of your listening (and purchasing) audience (esp if they knew the song). That being said, the double entendre stuff in general is not necessarily bad.

Unfortunately slogan creativity is not one of my strong suits (I make brownies much better), however, I know lots of the wenches here (Saphyne - where are you??) come up with some very good ones (see the IWG shirt threads).

Out of curiousity, what kind of image on a whole are the Crimson Pirates going for? If you want the whole family then I'd try to keep it somewhat "out of faire appropriate".

Oooh, I'd buy one!

I'd put Polly on the front, center chest with 'The Crimson Pirates' above Polly -- with the text arcing above.

On the back, upper center, I'd put 'All Your Booty Are Belong To Us' with a pile of coins below it (the printer should have something like this in its clip art files that can be used).

I also like 'It's MY Day in the Barrel', with perhaps a graphic of a wooden barrel tipped on its side with some water trickling out into a puddle (making the obvious connection to bath water, but still allowing the double entendre for those who get it). :)

Or...how about this: 'Better Living Through Pillaging' ? :)
