"Stafford said the hospital has "a very good and sophisticated security" system. "
Apparently not good or sophisticated enough...

Thank goodness they found the baby!
Amusing somewhat on-topic story:
When we were still in the hospital after Gwydion was born the head NICU doctor was cuddling him and walking around with him. She went from the newborn nursery to the NICU unit while still carrying him. All the alarms went off and the entire floor locked down. The funny thing is, that she's the one who got the "baby lo-jack" system put in to begin with!

Really, is anything ever going to be? If someone is desperate enough or crazy enough to commit a crime, no security will ever be enough. The security that was in place did work in that they were able to capture what truck was used and locate the infant quickly.
*sighs* At least this story had a happy ending.
