Now you can find cruelty cases by county, or by zip code using the new Local Case Search feature (http://www.pet-abuse.com/pages/cruelty_database/local_search.php). Select a state and county, or enter a United States zip code and the mile radius you wish to search within.
Pet-Abuse.Com is excited to offer this new search option, and we feel it will continue to reinforce the concept that animal cruelty hits closer to home than most people realize, furthering our goal of prevention through education and awareness.
Please note that this new search feature is not intended to replace the main case database search (http://www.pet-abuse.com/pages/cruelty_database.php) or the abuser name search (http://www.pet-abuse.com/pages/cruelty_database/name_search.php), as some cases do not yet have a county and/or zip code assigned to them. As of March 2007, we have mapped (with latitude and longitude) over 5,600 U.S. case (over 61% of our domestic cases).
