Ladies,
After talking with Lucy and Piper, I have contacted Lars regarding the elections. I have still not heard back from him. The situation with our elections was the same as our previous election (with myself and Denise/Tinkerwench being nominated as Madame and Vice-Madame): there were two nominees with no one else coming forth as a candidate, and both ladies have accepted the nomination. During the last election, Lars stated that we needed an official "show of hands" vote to follow protocol and make it official, which is why I waited to hear back from him.
At this time, I am not able to hold this office because of changes in my health status with an increased treatment regimen in the next few months. Therefore, I have contacted Lars and these ladies via e-mail to let them know that I have turned over leadership to them effective immediately since we have not heard from Lars regarding any further action he may take in election protocol. I have also given him the contact information for these ladies so that he can contact them if he wishes to discuss the situation (as well as my own contact information).
Therefore, let us congratulate our new Madame and Vice-Madame, Lucy Buckles and Piper McBain! I'm sure that you both will do a fine job.
Thank you again for allowing me to serve as your Madame. It has been an honor.
