Thought I would post this here just to see what people thought. Personally, I am all for these guys, but I am also a little biased...both are professors at my University, and one was a professor of mine that I always thought should get involved in politics, since that was what he taught and was passionate about. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

This sounds like a wonderful experiment, and I applaud their idea. Do they have a plan for what happens if they DO get elected? How could they split the seat?

Please keep us updated?

Well, as I understand it, and I could be wrong cause I just found out about it this morning, they are both running, separately, but support each other...here is the link to their website. It can explain much more efficiently and accurately than I can.

Bumping this for those that were interested; they've put ads and news reports on the website.

**UPDATE**

Apparently Democrat Jeff Walz dropped out of the campaign. I'm have mixed feelings about it. I'm a Republican, but I was definitely rooting for either one of them to win, and I am disappointed that he felt he had to drop out. I suspect it had more to do with my school than anything else, despite what his letter said. Still, I will keep rooting for Burkee!
