Ok.. so I was given the name Cerridwyn by a friend of mine for a group we are in called Adrian Empire... He thought that for some reason it was very fitting, and well, I didn't object as I couldn't think of a different name.. So I kept it.. It was given to me..
So, over the past 5 years, it has grown on me more and more, (not that I didn't like it, ever!) but I have become more attatched to it.
I was given a very special gift yesterday from a different friend (This one is also part of the Fambly), it is a piece of apple wood with the ogham for apple burned into it. The apple tree is Cerridwyn's Tree. It is very special to me, and even is warm to the touch. It is honed to a very smooth texture, and even seems to have it's own pleasant energy.
It made me realise something even more interesting.. The Empress Card represents the Goddess Cerridwyn. Upon thinking back, every spread that someone else has ever done for me, the Empress Card has played a significant role. When I do a reading for myself, she doesn't show usually.
Just a little amusing thought on how somethings can come a bit full circle..
