OK, this had to get shared. I called the 800 number for United Airlines to clear up something with my flight to Maryland. I get an automated menu asking for flight number etc.
Then I get connected to some guy with an Indian accent. I told him my names at least five times and he was still giving me the wrong information.
I kid you not, this is exactly how the conversation went!
“Am I speaking with Miss Simpson?”
“No, Svendsen”
“This is for two passengers?”
“No, I’m flying by myself”
“I have listed here two seats for Lisa and Bart Simpson”
I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. It was a good five minutes before he finally got the right flight itinerary pulled up!
You know I’m gonna be looking for Bart and Lisa Simpson on this flight. If they’re really real people I will die laughing.
