That's horrible. I hate to see an Amber Alert, but to have found the suspected kidnapper dead with no further leads is worse. I do hope they find her alive and safe and healthy and whole, and soon. She's been missing for a long time.

Snopes is absolutely the place to start, but it's not always the place to finish. A cursory Google search shows that two years later, there's no word of this little girl ever being found.
