View Full Version : So is it just me....

Or does this guy look more like he's smirking rather than "breaking down"? This is Bobby Cutts who is on trial for murdering his pregnant lover and the mother of his son. He now claims that he swung around and hit her "in the throat area" when she wouldn't let him leave her apartment. Of course that doesn't explain the blood or the broken table....

But, seriously, are those crocodile tears or have I become that cynical?

It does look that way, but sometimes people's faces contort in a strange way when they're crying really really hard, and they can appear to be smiling. So you never know.

'Cynical' must be contagious cuz I see a smirk. :unamused:

It looks more like a smirk to me.

Looks like he's trying to cover a laugh with his tissue.

I'm looking at his eyes, not his mouth. His eyes are smiling.

I'd prefer to see video, or a sequence of pictures, before making a judgment.

A single frozen moment in a photograph can be deceptive. I'm sure you've all seen pictures of yourselves where you wondered, "where the hell did that face come from?"

It looks to me like a smirk. His eyes aren't "crinkly" enough looking to be crying. Does that make sense? Usually when someone is crying/breaking down, the eyes are more tightly shut and look crinkly.

He looks like every memeber of my family trying to stifle their laughter at midnight mass when I was a kid...

The picture is disturbing but I think that Cyranno is right about the series of pictures needed. Since I have discovered the rapid fire button on my camera, I have caught some INTERESTING facial expressions. Hmmm, may be that might make an interesting picture collection. Anyway, this whole story is disturbing.

On a side note, I glanced at the post title so quick that I swear at first it read "It's so Raven" (in reference to the show "That's so Raven" for those not familiar). I need more sleep!

I saw actual video of this on the Today Show this morning. He's definitely upset. Bad camera capture here. Really.

Now, what he's upset about, I'm not going to try & speculate... (getting caught?)... but he is upset. Its real.

Yeah, caught tears on GMA video this morning.

I guess not only is a picture worth a thousand words, it always portrays a thousand expressions. (or interpretations)

He says he knows what happened, but he can't describe it. I can, you killed her and hid the body, lied about it and thought you could get away with it because you were a cop you bastard!

Sorry...I was having a moment.

I deal with cops everyday who think they are above the law.

No need to apologize! I've dealt with a few in my lifetime that came from the bottom of the scum pond.
