I need to go visit a friend down there... I'm sure her and her daughter would love to go. Hmmm... I wish I wasn't so broke. I hate going to school full time, it seriously cuts into my wallet.

I wanted to go this past Saturday, but I had to work all day. Then I had to work Sunday. I'll be gone by next weekend.

And why would you work for a full weekend and then LEAVE!?!?! :-( That doesn't sound like very good planning to me! ;-)

Such is the Navy way.

I've been on a boat that got underway early on a Friday, pulled back in late on a Monday, full work day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and then underway again early on Friday for 2 weeks.

It sucks ass, but it's better than being shot at out in some god forsaken desert!
