The driver only had some bruising (seat belt) and 2 small cuts.

Car loss?? $1 Million bucks!
Waiting list for a new one?? 2 years.
When can daughter drive Dad's car again?? Next lifetime.
When will kid not be grounded and see the light of day??
Same day the polar ice caps melt.

But she is still alive... Priceless.

Car only had 9 miles on it...
One mile of it was during the wreck!

Just as I was thinking that the Ferarri Enzo couldn't get any uglier... I see these photos.

Speaks volumes as to their safety, in my eyes, though.

Actually, the pics make it more obvious than the story that she wasn't hurt:

The body is massively damaged, yet the passenger compartment is practically pristine. That means that the outer body absorbed the vast majority of the impact, leaving significantly less force to be imparted upon the occupants.

Also, the debris field goes a long way and the body is well away from the pole that was hit, meaning that all that deceleration took place over an extended distance. Force is dierctly proportional to acceleration. 200 to 0 in an instant is a massive amount of force. 200 to 0 over a long distance, less so.

And the kicker: the airbags deployed and the windshield is still there, meaning that she likely didn't go flying through it.

This is fishier that a 2 week old herring. Very odd in deed. Sounds like he was plotting something there with the company going belly up.

My dream car is a new Shelby Cobra, which goes for about $69,000. Which granted is no where near $1M, but when compared to my salary, is just about as much.

I've been told that you drive the car to drive the car, and to not be timid about it. That's what insurance is for.

Even weirder... more details:
http://www.wreckedexotics.com/special/enzo/

It appears Mr Eriksson may have destroyed a car which didn't belong to him. Police said the car was the property of the Bank of Scotland and was in the process of being repossessed at the time of the crash. The word on the street is the Ferrari (http://www.wreckedexotics.com/special/enzo/#) was obtained through fraudulent financing along with a Mercedes SLR. When the bank found out, Eriksson simply shipped the Ferrari to the United States.

Looks like Stefan may be in more trouble. After police completed a 6 hour search of his home this past weekend, they discovered firearms and a white substance which they believe to be cocaine. His official arrest was for the theft of 2 Ferrari Enzos and a Mercedes SLR.

There's even more... yikes.::tinfoil:

I dunno. First and foremost, we're talking about A Ferrari Enzo. Only 400 made EVER. To buy one, you have to be INVITED by Ferrari themselves. To be invited, you have to already own 2 or more Ferrari vehicles. I don't give a shit who you are, you can't just go buy a Ferrari Enzo. That being said, I question the "fraudulent financing" bit. The car is WAAAAY to exclusive.

This is the second Enzo to get wrecked. Comedian Eddie Griffin wrecked one at a charity event a while back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNVrMZX2kms

I think the model might be cursed. ::tinfoil:

That dumbass needed a solid kick in the ass. I know one Ferrari owner who has two of them and he won't even let anyone into the garage in which they are kept, much less allow anyone else to drive the damn things.

Soooo....How did this asshat get his hands on an Enzo? What a total waste.

Let me be wealthy for just a week. I'll make WAAYYY better choices.
