I have you as a friend, though I can't contribute anything to you until you hit age 2. The spear was the first thing I bought when I started after reading the FAQ's. In age 2 you have to maintain a certain amount of 'money' to work on your quests, fall below that amount and your quest has to wait until you earn more. It's more difficult, but more fun as there are more options.

Oh, and, I'm LunaFae of the Left Hand tribe. I try not to give my point share to the same person all the time as I think there are a lot of people who need them to rank up in the community, so each week I've been alternating between a couple of people.

In age 1, be sure to work every day to make some money. You'll have to go fishing for food (or buy it at the market.) Try to at least have a spear in your weapons stock, you'll catch more prey that way.

Getting close to evolving to age 3...might hang around as a healer for a while first. My character, nynavea, is a Tooth Grinder. My first character died of neglect. :(

It sucked, actually...I froze the game the night before I had my baby. I got an e-mail a while later saying that my character was dying...logged on to find her already dead. The only way to save her would be to pay. Hell to the no! At least nyna wasn't that far gone yet. She just finished all her quests...just needs 2 more medals from the challenge and to go on punitive expeditions. MFS - what is your character's name? We can swap rep points. I need 'em to be a healer!

The egg I had was a snake. You can feed it (doesn't cost anything) and if I remember correctly, it helps protect your home. Other than that, there isn't much to do with it.

Don't worry about buying things for your home. It's a waste of money in the long run if you don't have much. Save your money to help with your quests. Buying things for your home doesn't make a lick of difference when it comes to whether or not you can evolve to the next age.

I found out that you raise dinos to slaughter and eat. I got a huge piece of salami from a triceratops. I'm on my first mammoth hunt tonight and I suspect to be gravely injured. I do think it's a slow game but I am enjoying that slowness. All I need is 3 minutes a day to play. I don't get the human age contest though, I don't want to buy 5 triassic dragons just to prove I can.

Sounds like Age 1 has change dramatically since I was there.

I just finished the firestarter quest, and I'm pretty cranky. I had to give up my only weapon, get a loan, AND I'm dirt poor. Making fires better be worth it, because I'm just eating fruits and veggies until I can afford another weapon.

You don't have to give up your weapon if you ask around and learn the correct direction from someone in your tribe who has done the quest. Sorry you are frustrated!

Nynavea is in Age 3 now...it is fun! I love the new way of hunting. Much more hands-on. What is the deal with pyramid bricks?

I've been trying to figure that out myself. I know if you want to build a pyramid, you have to extract the blocks and then have them carved. Then you can start building and hire people to help you build it. What the advantage is in having a pyramid though I don't know.

Tempest, joining the forums for my tribe was extremely helpful to me when I was working on the quests. One of the quest tasks in age one is almost impossible to get through without a lot of frustration and money so I bought a quest god to get past it.

Aikien made it to age 2 and I think it's going well. My wolf came up with me, but nothing else. I'm joining in on warring parties and getting beat up every night. It's weird how the goal changed into a community over just getting myself thru the night.

I just evolved in age two..earning money is a bitch. lol. I don't know how you guys managed to evolve so quickly. Gaining weight is so hard, because you can only eat once a day. Right now, I'm wondering if I should build stats first or concentrate on saving money for the quests.

If you can scrape up the cash, invest in hygiene items. Also, you can be healed at the hospital for free to save money. What clan are you in?

I'm in the hanging dogs. Can't seem to save any more than 150 th at a time...by the time I've saved up, I have to get a new harpoon, and that takes away most of my money. So yeah, it's slow goings. I can't even fathom making it through a quest, because I have NO idea how people actually earn th in this game.

Wow. I've spent the past 3 weeks married to the Pharoh in Egypt age. I went from poor, homeless and starving to full stats, weight and a whole houseful of goodies. Awesome! I just realized he was pharoh last week when elections were held. too funny.

Once I found out that you could start the Egyptian level without doing the ones before it I lost interest.
