A month til Colorado Faire starts!

Ok its not quite a month yet but it is close enough!

We will be there most weekends, we are planning on taking off a couple. However, there might be people traveling to Colorado, so we may be there more than we think! :wink:

Looking to be out there for the very first visit on July 5th. It’s only going to be for the one day, but plan on making the most out of it.

There are a few that are in the ticket booth and then we are scatterd around the fair.
The bulk of us are almost always in the Pirates Pub, If you wanna know more Jess is the gal to ask!

Most of the pinned wenches work the ticket booths, but they have pretty much disassociated themselves from the rest of the guild (they wear the pins, but that's about it)

There are a few of us who wander aimlessly.

I am generally located near the Pirate's Pub, it's the easiest place for visitors to find. (that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!)

Well, start planning now....we would love to have you here to visit!

We are still planning on TUX. We will be in NY, probably the 3rd of September. At this point, the plan is to see a Mets game on the 6th and do faire on the 7th.

I'm already getting excited!

Today was the first day I have been out since the 2006 season, unfortunately I have probably also been off the boards since that time as well. Divorce and getting a master's degree will really reek havoc with your money and being able to go to Faire.

I did not see any faces that I recognized today but got to meet Captain Stamina and his lovely wife (at the moment I am drawing a blank on her name but she was very nice). My new husband had a good time as well. Hopefully, I will get to see some of the other wenches when I come back out on the 19th and of course meet some others. Ugggh Love and Romance weekend when my husband will be gone to training, but thats ok. I mostly hang out at the pirates pub except when I need to go for a walk. Are we doing wench walks anymore? Any plans for guild activities at Faire this year? I am feeling really out of the loop since I was gone last year.

Unfortunately, I will not be there on the 19th. I will, however, be there on the 12th and the 26th and closing weekend! If you are able to make any of those weekends, I would love to meet up with you!

I was unable to go this weekend and meet Capt. Stamina. I was really looking forward to it but just wasn't feeling up to it.

We don't do wench walks at this time, but I'm hoping to get a chance to talk to management and work on some issues.

I will see if I can make it out on the 26th. Might just be me with none of the hoards of friends I usually show up with. This coming weekend I will be spending in Denver with my husband as his farewell ceremony is on the 14th before he deploys to Iraq. Closing weekend, I have an SCA event that I am going to down here near the springs.

Safely returned from the 11.5 hour road trip arriving at 6 pm last night; dog tired, wore out, and up this moring to come go work. Everyway, it was nice to meet Adriana Rose and Mandy ReNee.

There was a truth to what I did hear about the CO faire; with the exception of a few spots, everything is up hill (both ways). Also learned that high altitude, lack of oxygen, and drinking ale is a new experience.

Had a wonderful time and hope to be able to do it again one day and see more of the faire than the Pirate's Pub.

Looks like we have changed our minds about going this weekend. We are thinking more the 26th or 27th. Trying to get my normal crew all on the same page at the same time seems to be like herding cats lately. Hopefully I will get to meet some of you that I do not know yet.
