Well, there I was, no shit....
Mama was given an aircard last week at work to start working from home a few days a week and save gas. Quite lovely. I can, once again use the internet at my leisure, instead of hoping to use my 1 hour a day at the library usefully. Doesn't matter how usefully, they didn't let me have access to the wench site.
So, please tell the Hermit what's been going on?
Welcome back deary! Not a whole lot going on lately...KYHRF is running right now and Ohio soon after. We've had some small invasions and more are planned as well as some meet-ups and stitch n bitches eventually. :)
Glad to have you back on the interwebz!

No no no.... a lot of us have smaller machines we can tote everywhere (although we envy those of you who don't!) and we get together in one spot, munch, share our knowledge, and sew in good company! :) Some guild business and/or activities may be discussed as well.
Even if you don't have a machine you are more than welcome to come hang out and get to know everyone! :) That is, when we plan one...I imagine we will just have a meet up first.

Yeah, kinda grew up on the idea you had a room for sewing. Spoiled by an amazing woman who has 2 and a 1/2 (1/2 broken reg sew, 1/2 good on embroidery? not tried yet) embroidery, 1 regular, 1 serger. And I have her older cast off. Basically everything in that room is related to sewing or crafts. Now if we talk about fabric, what's not in current use (idea mode for me) is in the basement on shelves, organized in boxes by type of fabric/style.
