Sometime this fall I am tackling a huge project for work. We are going to go from roller blinds to blackout curtains on all the windows in the hotel rooms. I am going to be making them. I am wondering if any of you have ever made them before and if so where did you get the fabric and what problems did you run into along the way. I know I can handle this but I want to be fully prepared. There are 39 rooms that I will be making the curtians for. Not sure about the bath rooms yet.
Where's a good place to get blackout fabric, were there any tricks you found, do you wash this before sewing with it. Those are the questions I have for now. I'm sure that I will come up with more. I figured that I would charge them about 10.00 per hour since it's nothing more than sewing straight seams and cutting.
