Hope these can help.....(at least in the knowing what is where for the hotels...as for which are the more popular/nicer/cheapest ones, I have no idea....this will be our first year going too!!!!)

that is the one in sterling that i am going to go to i am hoping to get a place to stay before they get booked and i was kinda hoping that if i stay in the same place as some of the other wenches maybe i can follow them to the hotel ::starts playing stalker music:: lol

Sterling.........an absolutely beautiful faire! We went last year and had a wonderful time. I wasn't crazy about our accomedations though. Hoping to do better this year! when is everyone going?????

Dearest Ria - if it wasn't too great of a place, I would appreciate it if you would tell us *where* so we don't stay there either!! :kiss:

I checked out the website & the listed accommodations - here's my solution - go to New York and stay in Mexico! :bananada: (That just cracks me up!) In all seriousness, tho, the faire is at the Mexico exit off of the interstate, but I don't know much about the facilities around there. Syracuse is about an hour South from the faire, but it's a decent sized city so I'm sure there's plenty of *name brand* hotels there, if you don't mind the drive. I'm pretty sure we are going to go next summer - daughter's husband is in the Army (should be back from Afghanistan by then) and is stationed at Ft. Drum in Watertown, so it'll be a good excuse to go see them AND go to the faire! Whoohoo! Hoping to see everyone there - how about 4th of July weekend? Anyone up for that? Let me know - we could have a *wench invasion*! :cheer: {hugs} cc
