Ditto. Except substitute "show that opens Friday with only 10 reahearsals, 40 costume changes, and no ASM," for "doomling."

My platform, as Vice Madame nominee is simple, and has only a few points.
1) What I can do: I am an extremely organized person, and this can only help the local. Communication is a big problem because Georgia is a fairly vast state. I’d like to compile, and keep up to date, a roster of our Local wenches, and create a phone tree to get important announcements out easily, for those who don’t or can’t keep up with e-mail or the forums. I would also like to compile all our assorted bits of paperwork, charters and whatnot in both electronic and paper forms, easily accessible to all members. If I can keep track of a show’s worth of difficult actors, six designers, backstage crew, props, costumes, light and sound cues, I probably have a chance keeping up with the state’s wenches.
2) What I plan: I’ve got a lot of ideas and activities I’d like to see us get involved in. Since we are in the South, let’s demonstrate some of that fabled Southern charm and hospitality. I’d love to at the beginning of the season, get a small lust of wenches together and make the rounds of the booths, welcoming our visiting sisters, and giving them some faces and names to place with the local “ladies.” We really need to reach out to other Locals and forge relationships, and I think this is a great way to start. This is just one example of things we can start doing this season, easily and cheaply. I’d also love to get in motion the process of getting an official Hostel sanctioned and badged, with a sign!
3) Who I am: I’m going to be bluntly honest; face it, we’re wenches, and we get bitchy, particularly at each other. Anyone who claims all is currently happiness and unity around here is Christmas-bats crazy, and I’m not going to pretend to a state of affairs that is unicorns farting rainbows. However, it’s well known that I don’t hold grudges against anyone, and, as far as I’m aware, no one currently has a grudge against me. I’m a politically neutral entity. I’m generally good natured, even tempered, and forgiving (well, eventually). I try to avoid gossip and stay out of petty squabbles. I’m a good listener. And, I am always scrupulously truthful. If you want fair leadership, I’m a good choice.
Now, reasons not to vote for me, for, as I said, I’m honest.
1) I will tell you to your face if you’re doing something stupid, inappropriate or thoughtless. If you don’t like it, I will apologize for hurting your feelings, but I won’t take it back.
2) Between my two jobs, I do not have as much time to devote to the Local as I would like.
3) I am usually the last one to hear any news or Drahma, so I am not as well informed of what’s going on as a Madame of Vice should perhaps be.
4) I live 60 miles from the central hub of the state, Atlanta, so I will not always be able to make meetings, events and social occasions. I will try my best, but I will sometimes fail.

Platform did not take. so I will wing it:
I want to foster a sense of unity with in 74, encouraging meetings to plan for faire, to get to know sister wenches as well as be able to make positive changes in our communities.
Leadership skills are learned by doing, and action is key.

I thought voting ended on the 7th of December? Did they reopen or is it still open?
