Happy (belated) Chanukah, Merry Christmas, Blessed Yule, Happy Kwanzaa and a very happy new year to all the wenches of New England.

I hope everyone is in good spirits and is relatively stress free in this holiday season.

I wanted to remind everyone of the wench gather that Branwyn has been organizing for January 10. We are taking a trip to Chippendale's at the Roxy in Boston. The URL for directions is http://www.roxyplex.com/v2roxy/roxy_directions.html.

People have asked me about attire. This is a non garb event, since lots of people will be coming from work. If you want to wear garb, feel free, but it is not mandatory. Besides, it'll be easier to take all the lovely men home with us if we are not restricted by bodices!

In addition, non wenches are welcome! If you know someone who you think would have a great time hanging out with us, drag them along!

Hugs and love to you all,
Cassandra

Holiday greetings! :)

I am working the overnight shift at my job (not the best shift for a holiday, but at least I get to spend Christmas day with my kids) so I am writing this with sleep deprived, blurry eyes! :( Ahh well, it pays the bills at least (especially since hubby is *still* unemployed... has been since 4/02). This isn't my normal shift, but it is great pay tonight as it's considered the holiday shift because 6 out of 8 of my hours are in the Company Holiday day.... woo-hoo!

Anymawho, I most regretably cannot join my sisters on the 10th of January as I work Tuesday - Saturday, 3rd shift. This may change to include additional overnights after the new year, but even that shift would include working Friday and Saturday nights. It is, unfortunately, also too soon after the holidays to try to request a night off or a shift change to join everyone. :( I will most definitely look forward to the next one; I just hope we get to do another one or even a meeting before Faire Season starts for us all! :)

btw, Thank you Branwyn for the work you put in to setting this up. I know it's not the easiest thing in the world to track down info and coordinate gathers. I hope it's a large crowd and everyone enjoys themselves imMENsely!
