Getting together would be awesome! Especially since I only know a grand total of about 10 people in the entire state. 1 being my boyfriend and 2 being his parents. :-/

Been there! When I first moved out here from AZ (and shortly before that, San Diego ><) it was the dead middle of winter and I knew my (now ex) husband and had just met his parents as we were moving in :shock:

PM me if you want to get together, I'd love to meet you! Same goes for any others in the area, maybe we could make it a wench meet :D

We should definitely have a girls outing or something. Any ideas on date/location? Like I've said, i'm very new to Omaha, so I don't really know of any places to go. I'm flexible.

I live in Papillion. I plan to go to Nebraska fair at 168th and Giles tommorrow. (14th-15th May) I'll be in the bright blue skirt/black bodice/muffin hat. I viisted the fairgrounds today, it will be muddy but as long as you don't mind that, and the contributions that the horses will be making to the mess, it should be fun.
I still haven't mailed off my IWG membership form (my printer is possesed!) but I plan to be a member by the time the Fair of the Midlands in June. Who do I contact to join the local #29?

I know this is an old thread but, while I may not be new to the Omaha Metro area( Midlands Faire- 9 years, 5 under contract), I am new to the guild. I am curious about guild members in the area. I've had very little contact with people I can call friends in recent times and would like to chat at least with some new people.
