Okay, I have come here to admit it, yes, I have crossed over to the dark side......fabricaholicism.
It started on a cold winter day last month (well they all were pretty cold, but I digress). I was at a training class in Cranberry, PA. They have a nice JoAnn's there, so I decided to stop in after class to see what they had on clearance. As I pulled into the parking lot I saw the sign......STORE CLOSING. My heart began to race, my head began to swim with the possibilities. Eagerly I walked into the store.....low and behold.... all was 40%-70% off!!! I frantically started searching. What did I need?? How much off was it?? How many yards do I need?? My mind went blank, I was almost reduced to a twitching mass on the floor, but a quick call to Heather brought me back to sanity.
My first day's purchases came to $65. But I couldn't stop. The next day I came armed with patterns and yardage requirements. I bought another $40. I regretted not getting the ultra suede for a new cloak. Luckily I had to go back to training the next week. My third trip yielded the ultra suede (marked down another 10% to my wondering eyes) and another $50 was spent. So all in all I got about 65 yards of assorted fabric for $150!!!!! I have enought stuff for 5 skirts, 5 chemises, 2 cloaks, and a captain's coat (I think that's the final count....) oh, I forgot 2 pairs of bloomers.
My first step is to admit I have a problem.........My name is Betsy and
