Charity opportunity - MS Walk May 2

I was looking through the forums and saw that some of the Locals are forming teams for their local MS Walks. I have walked in the past for my sister (missing the last couple years for my back) and it's a great time!

Would anyone else like to help me form a team for a Chicago area MS Walk? I would like to suggest the St. Charles location, the park and river should be a great view and the air should be better to breathe for a 3- or 6-mile walk.

I'll get more information this week, and will post again if there is interest.

Being the Team Captain for Team Wench for MS in MD, I say go for it!!! :)

But that's just me. :)

Until last week, we were the number one fundraising team in MD! We're only number two now, but there's plenty of opportunity to change that between now and April 25! :)

Click on "Register Today for the MS Walk"
Click "Join an Existing Team"
Type in "Team Wench IL" and follow the rest of the instructions.

There is a Team webpage as well as individual webpages to monitor teammates and pledges [I'll try to individualize our team website this weekend]. It's really easy to have people go to your webpage and pledge (plus you get a 25% bonus towards your pledge goal for online pledges). Just follow a couple of their pledge suggestions, and we should be able to meet and pass our team goal!
