If only I could knit. I might, however, try this in crochet eventually. Seems that some people found that the brim was too wide, but, as someone did, once felted, the fabric is easily cut without raveling, and she bound the edge with matching bias tape.

I think this was posted a while back and although I can knit and I think it's really funny, I'll say what I did before.

600 Yards of feltable wool yarn!?! That seems crazy!

I've also never made a felted project, so who knows, maybe I'll give it a try.

600 is a lot, but as a crocheter, it seems everything uses at least 400, though not usually feltable yarn, lol
