:lurking: So I have droped in on a few threads and decided that I might want to introduce myself formaly. So here goes. I am joining you from Alaska at the moment. By that I mean that when my hubby gets back from yet another deployment :sigh: I will be moving back to South Carolina. Then who knows.... ah military life. I don't have a home faire at the moment although I hope that I will find myself one soon. I have never actually been involved in a faire but I have poked my head into several in San Diego a few years ago. Alas my life since then has allowed very little time or money for that matter to pursue my desire to got inolved in renfaires. Finally though I can and go fig I live on a tiny island and have no way to get to one :cry: But come July that will change and I hope to be able to run into some of my fellow wenches at faire. :singdanc:
Just as a side note, I discovered the IWG while watching an A&E show about ..... like you didn't know, cleavage. I saw wenches guild under some ones name and jumped to my computer and looked it up. I was completely blown away. I never expected what I found and had to join.
So for the regular stuff, I'll be 24 in May, I have a beautiful son who will be 1 next month, am married to my high school sweetheart(5 years in September) who is now a United States Marine (which explains the lack of money) and is soon to be a rouge in his own right. Gotta love those Rouges. I have to admit I am a litte nervous about attending a faire and I will be picking all your brains for help on how everything works and what somethings mean. So that is all I can think to say(believe me thats a first) I look forward to getting to meet as many of you a possible. If there is anything else you want to know please ask. I know I will be asking a lot. Wenches rock
