Can someone tell me the name of the festival held at the advent of spring? Is it a solstice or an equinox? *been doing math, brain feels fried*

And while I'm thinking of it, is there a polite way to ask a lingering presence in one's domicile to stop leering at one while one is showering? I keep getting this awful creepy feeling... just like that shiver of disgust when a guy at a construction site leers at you as you walk by... but it only happens when my roomie's not home...

Ostara, Spring or Vernal Equinox

As to the lingering presence... do you want it gone (banished) or just to stop leering?

banished would be preferable, but I'd settle for a level of privacy and decorum. This might sound a bit crazy, but I'd swear sometimes there's this balding, 40ish chubby guy leering at me... he keeps popping up in my dreams, and I've never met him before...
blargh. might just be stress. school is sucking this semester.

Have you tried just asking nicely? I have/had a presence at the front of my apartment that had me getting up and down several times a night while watching TV to greet whomever it was coming to my door. Well, there was no one there.. So one night I finaly told it to pick one... Either inside or out, but whatever it is stop teasing and playing with me cause I was getting upset. It worked.. I am not sure if he is in or out, or just doesn't frequent the window, but I don't have to get up all the time. I do catch him every once in awhile, but I think he goes to Kevin's apartment too...

Well an old method is white vinegar in a saucer in the room or blessed salt water sprinkled in the corners of the room.....visualize white powerful barriers around the room....

I've tried asking nicely... didn't really work. Think I'll try the vinegar thing while I do my spring cleaning. thanks!

The vinegar thing is not so much a pagan solution as an old southern one...Good luck and let us know what happens
