Can anyone give me a reliable estimate of how far--time wise, the fairfield Inn in Spring Valley is from the site at Tux? I've gotten quotes from "Half-an-hour" to "It's one of the closest hotels."

thanks!

Beatriz - 30 to 40 minutes is about right. Hop on Thruway, get off at 17, up that road for about 15 mins., and you're just about there. I grew up in Rockland Co., and give more detailed directions if you need them, but the ones on the NYRF website are good.
Will be looking forward to seeing you there. Where will you be coming from?

Beatriz... check out hotels in Mahwah, they are closer to the faire, about 20 minutes if that. It's mostly slow going through the town. Do you need the names of some? You know, if you dont mind sharing the floor (I have an areo bed) and wanna save the money, I live 40 mins from the faire and it wont cost you a thing.

Maddie,

You are a love. If you could email me some suggestions (bodaciouswench at aohell dot com) I would greatly appreciate it.

As for the offer of crash space, that's also appreciate. Unfortunately between my allergies and my deep rooted post-faire anti-social behaviour (Meaning, all I want after a day of faire is pure, utter silence for several hours) I do not make a good houseguest.

But I thank you very kindly for the offer. I am definately hoping to make it up to Tux--and meeting you is one of the top things on my list of reasons why!

Schmooches,

Maddie

Ok, no problem on the floor space thing. It's always opened for anyone who needs it.

I'll send you that info shortly about the hotels.

Todd and I are looking forward to your visit. Will Broadfoot be in tow too?
