As the topic is already being raised on the Hussy's Hangout and serveral other local's pages, I thought we should start the discussion here. Now that we are a local, what color ribbons could we use to designate ourselves as Georgia?
Several locals use the state flag, but with the recent and pending changes to the GA state flag, that may not be a good idea.
On the Hussy's Hangout, Peach and Creamy White for the Georgia peach and magnolia blossoms was suggested.
What does everyone think? How about everyone list a color they think would represent Georgia and we will see if there are any that stand out.

I really liked the idea of peach and creamy white for our colors. It's different...just like us. :)
I'll do some thinking on it and see if I can come up with anything else, but I think the peach/white idea is a good one.
And I want to meet you guys, darn it!!!!
Edited to include this:
We could do three colors as well:
Peach - for the Ga peaches
Creamy White - for the beautiful magnolias
and
Green - for all the blasted Kudzu! ;)

Peach can be fairly difficult to find in ribbon. And I detest orange. *shudders* Seriously detest orange.
I am all for purple and blue... cause I am just wrong like that.
Let's see... purple... from the color Scarlett O'Hara turned when getting her corset laced up to make that 18 inch waist. Very Georgia. *nods*
Blue... because all of our men take first prize.

Plus the colors are so close to other state flags... and other locals colors.
I would love colors that stand out and cannot be mistaken for anyone elses.

I like the purple (royalty) and blue (for the 1st class men!), plus maybe throw the creamy white in there too. If the green were rich enough, it might be a good counter to the blue/purple. What color blue were you thinking - cobalt-y or pale? Orange is not good - especially when you're a redhead!

My picks are jewel tones, amethyst purple and sapphire blue. I do like emerald or spruce green. We could always be even more different and add a sparkly aurora borealis ribbon.

Ooooh, sparkly/shimmery stuff is good. My hubby says I'm part crow - that I'm attracted to things that sparkle and twinkle in the light.
I do beadwork (jewelry and such), so if you need anything like that done, just let me know!

I like the purple/blue/creamy white idea, but I might be biased, 'cause purple's my absolute favorite color ever.

Yes, inquiring minds would -definitely- want to know, especially since this wench's pin just came in :bananada: and she would like to know what color ribbons she should find to go with it.
