I noticed last night that the webring that was the IWG Local 42 WebRing when I joined it (as evidenced by the ring's ID "mdrfwench" is no longer the IWG Local 42 WebRing. Apparently it was abandoned, and the person who "snapped" it up decided that he wanted to change the name, so now it displays "International Wench's Guild", which is rather silly, since there's already an "International Wenches Guild" WebRing (I know, because I'm the ringmaster of that one). I sent an email to the ringmaster of this "International Wench's Guild" webring, asking why it had been changed. The response was as follows:
Greetings:
The ring info has changed because I am now the owner of the ring. I hope that this does not cause any undue stress for you.
Thanks for your inquiry.

So, Local 42 no longer has a webring (so to speak), because someone has effectively taken it away from us. Does anyone want me to create a new WebRing for Local 42? Since I am already the webmaster of the main ring, I see no problem in ringmastering for Local 42 as well.
