I am in the process of moving from NC to FL and am a registered wench. Are there any wenches around Gainesville? Can't wait to meet you all!

Welcome to FLA!

I'm way down south, about six hours from you, but I'll prolly be up to Gainesville next season, to take my mom to the Hoggetown Faire. Just wanted to say hello.

Also, I do believe that the BARF is only about four hours from you... that's hardly a drive at all in Florida!

Good point..... Besides Hogtowne and the Bay area faire, are there any other faires in the area?

I don't know about north florida area... but there is the FLARF about six hours south of you....

Here's a link to a listing of Faires in Florida. Some are Ren/Medieval and some are Pirate. All are pretty cool, though. ::smile::

A lot of them are in the Central Florida area. Check with the contact personnel to get the current dates for next year for those events that have already occured for 2004.
