Tights?

Hey--

I have some stretch panne velvt and I thought I might make myself a pair of tights... especially after seeing them run for $50+ online. ;) I'm a cheap SOB, what can I say.

Has anyone had any experience? Are there any online patterns? Thoughts? Should I avoid it like the plague?

I use, at least for men's tights, the Simplicity pattern for the "robin hood" garb. The cover of the the pattern has two doofy looking guys, one with a lute. They are wearing yellow/orange and green. Its an older pattern. I looked on the simplicity web site but I cant find the pattern #.

You may have to make the legs a bit longer, depending on how tall you are, but its an AWESOME pattern.

The Green Pepper pattern is nice as well.. You will have to make them longer, but I liked how they look on my man.
