Local Quesiton

Hello All and Greetings from Fayetteville!

Two questions for the ladies here!

Several years ago, when I first got my wench pin/packet... I was assigned Local 69... as there wasnt a local here. Any idea how I could go about getting the local changed?


Secondly, Im in need of a bodice. In the past, Ive just worn a long skirt, peasant blouse, vest to a faire.. however, this year I want a proper costume. Any suggestions on where to purchase one that wont cost an arm, leg, and my first born male child? (although at the present, the first born male is up for grabs if there are any takers!).

Im a rather up.. ample woman in the chest area, so if someone can recommend a particular style/maker that would be VERY helpful!

Try www.greycatdesigns.com . Laura has awesome stuff plus she is a member of the local. Also http://www.crimsongypsy.com/ . They have nice things as well but they have a 8 or more week wait for custom items last time I checked. That being said, their stuff is well worth the wait.

Frankly, Kerowyn would be the best to answer, but I think you just notify your old Madame and your new Madame, if there really is a formal process. Heck, it could be as easy as chaniging it in the wench.org database.

Oh, and just to add to the chorus. Go with Greycat or with Lady Privy!!!! I have one of each and love them both. It's kind of a nice feeling to have to weigh which one of my favorite comfy things to wear!

Sorry, I kinda zoned out on the first question. I would say that Mis Red is right. Contact the Madame of local 69 to let her know that you are switching. Although we are all actually part of local 69 even if we are in the local for our state/s. Then get into contact with 96 (which you have pretty much done) and join the local 96 yahoo group.

If you need to change it on the Wench.org site just go to the member page, click the login link and type in your new local on your profile. And if you want to change it on your card then contact Lar and I think he can send you a new one. You would have to check with him on that. I hope this helps. Welcome to the local.
