I am attending on 8/14 and have feast tickets, but what is this about being able to bring your own lunch? I figured the guards at the gate would take stuff like that away along with water bottles and such. I was going to pack a little basket with extra change of shoes, a wet towel and such and set it in the hostel under cover somewhere. I will be contributing to the water fund and carrying a tankard. Wow, this scene just gets better and better. I have a season pass so to make it worth it, I will be attending alot.

In the past, we have brought in gallons of water & a few snacks to keep in the hostel. I don't think we would be able to bring in like large coolers or the like. Some of the regulars have brought coolers with food, kept them in their cars, and went out to the parking lot for lunch. (They get there so early in the morn, they are parked close to the front) Seeing as how expensive the fest food is, that's not such a bad idea. If you get a season pass, you just show that again to get back in. If you get a paper ticket, be sure to get your hand stamped before leaving so you can get back in.

i always take snacks and bottles of water in my basket - no one has ever questioned it or stopped me - so i assume either they don't care or don't look that hard.

Thanks for the reply. I won't need anything the first weekend with feast tickets and all. I'm planning to park close in case I need something out of the horseless carriage. However, after I get my bearings (sp?) with the hostel and all the ladies I'll feel more comfortable bringing a care package.

Do the wenches ever bring non perishable snacks to share amoungst themselves? As my persona is evolving, I've picked a baker's assistance character. I bake alot and it seems to fit. Plus I'm built like the Pillsbury dough boy's girlfriend. I make really good power cookies with lots of oatmeal and such in them.
