2nd level. Althought I don't practice a whole lot these days. The hubby won't take it. Usually the most action I get from my Reiki is on myself, or I reiki the plane whenever I fly.

I'm a second degree in Reiki, getting ready for my Master Teacher Level, when a teacher finally makes herself/himself apparent to me! I'm talking with a few right now.

I'm just starting my practice here in Ohio and offering online healings, along with jewelry and Henna Body art (you have to be local for that, cause um..that would be difficult to paint ya from a distance, make my modem all sticky.)

I have the worst time remembering to when my life is being difficult... I'm so glad we have some reiki practitioners / attuned wenches... I hope more surface... I do believe everyone should at least be attuned for a reiki 1...

On a similar note; at pennsic this year they have a class called Runic Reiki sounds intresting I will post my thoughts on it if I have the chance :D

Yes. My Reiki Master worked with a lot of Peruvian Shamanism, and was a Mesa Carrier, so I work alot with healing the land, and the water around our area.

One beautiful thing that I was taught was to take stones from your favorite park, go home with them and charge the rocks with Reiki. Then during another visit put them into places that feel they are in need of a "boost" at the park you got the stones from. We have one park I love here, that I do that for, to cut down on the litter and other things that happen there. The park is on the fork of a river here, and so I will ask the stones where they want to go, and alot of the times they like to take a swim! So into the water! There seems to be more of an abundant supply of fish, and water skimmers this year, which makes me happy. :) I feel like I'm doing my small part to help the earth breath. It's a joy!

Sounds neat! Posting please, I'm always interested to hear more about Reiki. It makes sense since Runes are power symbols. ;)

I know lately, that I've been getting these power bursts where I'm like "whooooo whoooo this is better than King's Island!!!" *grins* Our area is doing some major shifting.

Runes are very powerful symbols I don't know what effect they will have on someone's bioenergy, but what ever it is it will be intense if I do (I see runes as concepts of reality give form. Which means if we take the Runes of Destruction and Air put them together and send the spell out look out!) I already mimic reiki in my own way with Tai chi healing theory. I personally wouldn't combine the two (hey look a major line of bio energy, oops wrong rune...) but it wtill would be intresting...

Well, since with Reiki attunements the symbols for Reiki are placed in the energy field it would be similar to it, but as "helpers". I am unsure how they exactly work the energy with the Runes. I prefer to stay within my limits of Reiki and not add too much to it, because I want the energy to maintain a clear resonance. I am firm that the energy has to be given in the best intention to all those involved for the best result. So we agree that combinding the two isn't for everyone. I kinda see all the forms of Reiki in the world and as myself "can't we just assoicate this with our Reiki practices without having to be "attuned" to another and another form of Reiki?"

We hoped to get out to Bristol Faire this year, but no time off. Hubby got Verdigo this year and had to take a few days off to get his barrings straight. So, we are probably just doing Ohio Ren Faire, and maybe another one in late fall or early spring. All depends on how we work it all out. :)

Oh he's better already! :) They gave him a beta blocker for a week and he's right as rain! :) He just has no mo' vacation for the year. *sniffs*
