I'm calling this a GREAT start!!! :)

It was truely wonderful to see everyone and to have the opportunity to introduce our newest visitors to our Faire. Gardo and Terri.... you guys are great fun and we hope you came back soon! Who knew the man could step-dance? Pam, that is a priceless mpeg. Oh and thank you for being a special part of my rogueing. :D

Business'll probably die down a bit next week, but this weekend certainly kicked some unholy arse. And seeing all the new Wenches and our...not old Wenches, but you know what I mean, yes? was just fabulous.

I didn't get to see ANY of the shire, really. Which is a bummer. But as it was because we were too busy making money, I'm okay with it. I wish I'd gotten to socialise more, and I wish all you pub-crawlers hadn't SPENT ALL DAY IN THE PUB, but hey, there's always next week, right? And the next, and the next, and the next....

Perhaps next weekend... I need to spend a bit more time wandering and meeting people and less sitting in the the pub watching and spending time with a small few. Though the few were entertaining and gracious hosts to the shire.

Sweetie..... these not only flush...... they come with an attendant to hand you your paper towel.... all kinds of hand lotions..... INCENSE burning..... and a basket full of a variety of things a lady might find herself in need of in a personal emergancy. hehehehee I suppose I am easily impressed :)

Everything was indeed fabulous...hugged friends I hadn't seen in a while, hugged friends I HAVE seen but still liked to hug, and hugged a certain someone I never thought I'd hug again...all in all I would say it was pretty great. And for those selective few who know who I'm talking about and are inquiring...the bridge has been burned and we're beginning our friendship anew.

HAHA... you have noticed the Privies are taken care of upon the shire. I'll pass it along to the attendents... they'll feel loved and adored :grouphug: for all the plumbing problems in a weekend :wink: . But you forgot ONE THING, dearest, They play CD's in the privies as well .... especially so at the Victorian Privies. :D Just cause I know the privy attendents will appreciate you noticed all thier hard work.

I always feel guilty when I go in there wthout carrying money. It's not the most glamorous job, but they make it fun!

I carry several singles with me for just that purpose..... and it's a very rare occasion that the attendant doesn't get a big thank you and a tip from me!. I HAVE a thankless job and i do my best never to make anyone that helps me feel unappreciated. LOL this weekend my shy demure rogue *cough cough* even provided a few minutes of entertainment for the attendant at the privies behind the hostel. Left her giggling like crazy!! :roll: Mayhaps the open ceiling over the rogues and wench's privies is not the best idea :)

OK.......Try to imagine....... you are ummmmmmmm ok you're using the priv..... when suddenly you hear the bellowing, melodious tones of FESSIG from the other side of the wall.....also known as the rogue's privy.......aided by the echo of those cinderblocks and open space between the dividing wall and the ceiling! The poor attendant nearly needed to priv herself from laughing!! She actually came out to get a better look at him as we left!

Always a show where my rogue and I go!!!

The pictures are classic wench with class! I would have liked to have been there for the privy sing :rotfl: PARF was awesome. I shopped, I shopped, (I'm even having a custom bodice chiller made) I drank, I ate, I drank some more and finally caught a few shows on Sunday. The shire is beautiful. I especially liked the gardens and I understand that the wenches will soon have one of their own by the hostel. B was going to try to get it in before this coming weekend.

B. If you run short of time and have the plants. I'll bring a shovel

The delicate flushies were a welcome change from trying to fit three layers of skirt in the port-a-pot at home. .

Oh and then there are all the people....the PARF folk are the friendly kind!!!!!!!!!! ( I'm still working on the shy thing) I met so many and even have remembered some of your names...

There will be a quiz next Sat. and I may need some coaches

My daughter was along on Sunday with me and I don't think I've ever seen her blush and giggle so much in my life. She had a blast. It was good bonding time. I think she is beginning to see me in a whole new life. And may be in training for wenchdom.....but I digress...

Gwen.... my daughter was there as well on sunday..... she came upon my rogueing {she was walking around with my other daughter and 2 of her friends whom she has said have become faire fans} she said "Wow they are rogueing someone" Her girlfriend said "Oh my god it's your MOM!!" LOL I suppose she sees me in a different light too :) She's a WIT and seems to be turning into a really good one! After the intital 17 year old blushing......she was genuinely pleased for me. You see.... she was the recipient of the first rogueing at PARF. It was last season on her 16th birthday..... the absolute sweetest 16! She still isn't over it :)
