Way back when The IWG first started doing walks at MDRF "The Walk" was a one time only special occasion. I've noticed over the years that doing walks & targets has gotten to be more of chore than the pleasure it used to be. So this year we're scaling back.
The Local #42 Wench Walk will be Saturday October 16th. Mustering *behind* the White Hart Tavern at NOON, leaving at 12:30. [Please note that there will be no place to leave things (baskets, cloaks, etc.) at the White Hart.]
The Local #42 Wench Bring (i.e. we stay in one place, while victims are brought to us) is to be Sunday September 5th at 1 PM in/around/near the Dragon Inn. (Joust side, not Jury Rig side.)
Times & places were chosen based on the entertainment schedule. (IOW these were the only times something wasn’t scheduled to be right there.) I know that usually there is a walk during Invasion, but unfortunately that weekend is also Pirate weekend... there's just too much going on already to do a walk.
I’m still working on the Target Coordinator situation. Will post separate information when it gets finalized.
