And What is your Plan for today??

I did 1.25 hours of yoga last night, and crashed out.
Plan for the day is a one hour Body Pump Class.

Does anyone want me to start a LiveJournal FoodJournal Community?

Just finished three hundred and thirty abdominal exercises. (sit ups, crunches, leg lifts, side crunches, leg overs, etc)

Moving on to free weights. Today is arms and chest.

Later today...about 45 minutes of yoga.

Yep... it's "crunch" time.

I'ma trying to whip myself back into shape for PARF.

Me too love.. Me too.. ;)
But then again one hour of body pump accomplishes approximately 100-120 lunges, 80-100 squats, 70-80 chest presses, 8 minutes of abs, More Hammer Curls and bicep curls than I know what to do with, and 5 minutes of shoulder HELL! PURE HELL!

BUT I feel flippin wonderful afterwards!

and, dear girl, if I could afford the gym, the class, and had the time to do it, OR the inclination to go...I'd be right there with you. but with so many strikes against the event, the likelihood is abyssmally low.

:)

I'll happily do my weights in front of the tv. Watching Star Trek reruns. Sci Fi is having a marathon week. :)

You know, I have some free passes, so ifn you ever get up for a visit, we can take it in together.. ;)

I also have a little in there as well, Val can issue guest passes.

Tonight I'm at the Dojo for 2hrs then plan on doing 100 crunches and Knee ups before bed tonight.

Here's to being insane  8)

Now that sounds like a plan. Maybe over the labor day weekend? I don't have class on Monday that night... depends on if the kids are with daddy or not. Can't count on it, certainly, but we can cross our fingers.

Y'all are very inpiring. Please keep writing about what you are doing. I think it will motivate me (and maybe put me to shame a little bit  ) but I'll keep trying.

Gardo - what marshal art are you into? I used to do some Akido (loved the philosophy).

Agreed! I've been trying to find some motivation myself, and it hasn't been easy to come by. Not sure I'll be able to afford another faire trip this year (seriously considering it, though -- I'm suffering from withdrawl!). So I have several months to prep for my next faire, I'm afraid....reading stuff like this helps a LOT!

Thanks for being willing to share!

Emalia - what is a LiveJournal FoodJournal Community?

I did pretty good today. Had flounder for dinner - I pan seared it, put it on a sun-dried tomato tortilla with a tiny dab of mayo and some romaine lettuce. It wasn't a Rubio's fish taco from San Diego, but it was pretty tasty. Then around 8, a friend of mine came over (who wants to lose about 7 lbs.) and we walked for an hour in my neighborhood - it's great: sidewalks, street lamps & rolling hills. Definitely worked up a sweat! :)

Cool! I wonder if it would be good for me to set one up and use it as a food/exercise journal...
