The Captain of the Jury Rig, Duncan McGuyver, and Sunflowergal, Toni C., are organizing a Pirate Encampment at KOA for Friday, September 24 and Saturday, September 25. This is the text of his post from the Pyracy boards: (Link - http://pyracy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3166)
"There has been some confusion with KOA over the encampment. Not to take anything away from all the planning work that Queenrogue did - but when we started calling today for reservations they decided they wanted us to get a group site w/ a deposit
Sooooooo HERE IS THE SCOOP !
This is open to EVERYONE - not just our crew. It's just easier for me to moderate the thread in here.
Site would be reserved for check in on Fri Sept. 24th (after 12 noon) Everyone must leave by Sun Sept 26th (before noon)
Rate : $9.00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT
We need 20 people each night - MAX of 40 each night
The Pirate party will be after Pub Sing on Sat. night. Thinking "primer party" Friday night PLEASE NOTE !!! - Sorry, But the party is for people camping only.
What we need is a head count please post TO THIS THREAD :
Who is in your group, names for each person
What nights EACH person is staying (Fri / Sat / Both)
We are having to guarantee this on credit card, so please on RSVP if you can commit, and let us know if things change."

*If you'd like to be there, but don't feel like joining yet another forum, feel free to pm me with the above info, and I'll be happy to make sure you get on the list. If you would like a space *as part of the Encampment*, please do not call KOA directly. The Captain and Sunflowergal are making a group reservation and all guests are going through them.
This is not a strictly period Encampment. Period or no - up to you! Currently, they have about 10 people for each nite.
