For those animal lovers out there...

I board my horse in Pinellas Park. Well, 2wks ago, the barn burned down. Mine was let out with no problem. Unfortunately, a good friend of mine was not so lucky. She lost 1 of her 2 (Jester) & her 2nd was burned pretty bad (Echo). On top of Echo being burned, last
year (06/13/03) he was hit by a car.

Just in case there were any questions, Kathleen is part of Local 21. She is a pinned wench, not just a random poster. I told her post here.
This has been a very rough month for those of us in Florida, especially horse owners with the barn fire and the hurricanes. My friend Karen (in West Palm) just now moved her horse back to his regular barn from an evacuation barn where she was with 5 other horses from her barn. There was no power, therefore no water. and the roads were full of debis.
