To the Wenches and Rogues of Hollygrove,

Even after a 7 hour drive, one lost debit card and too many constuction areas to remember, the first thing I did when I entered the house..ok the second thing I did when I entered the house was to sit down and write you all a thank you note. I can not tell you how much fun I had during my visit. I was made to feel so welcome and special by all of you. There was never a moment that someone did not go out of their way to make me feel as though I was THE honored guest of the weekend. The wenches are wonderful. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Mary Quickly and Librarian get a warm thank you for taking me under wing and including me in all their fun and mischief. A humble thank you to the Queen for stopping to talk to me as a visiting guest and wench. And without question the absolute highlight of the weekend, if not my entire faire life was being rogued by the most delicious bunch of Rogues in either the upper or lower pennisula! And from this day forth I shall carry those memories with me and be forever reminded of the Rogues of the Dixie Highway Men who stole my heart via 69!!!!! (Michigan humor, it's nothing dirty)

Well, what can I say... we are certainly honored by such a compliment :) Twas wonderful having you visit our fair. It is always a treat to try and show a visiting wench a good time :)
Now we'll just see if we can figure a way out to Bristol some time in the next year...

Pictures from your roguing can be found below... I can send larger of anything you might happen to want. Just let me know.

Apropos:

I'm glad you had fun! It's always nice being back in old stopmpin' grounds

I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you, but real life interfered with me getting to Festival
Guess we will just have to make plans for next season!

My dear, it was quite an honor to have welcomed you to our Shire. It was wonderful to have met you!

I'm SO glad we could show you a good time --not that a wench like you would have had an ounce of trouble finding it for yourself!

Or have had a hard time finding trouble by yourself for that matter....

And speaking of our wonderful Rogues (see: trouble above), aren't they just the BEST? First rate, indeed!! I got a roguing the last weekend, and the smile is STILL stuck on my face.

I'm looking forward to seeing you visit next year as well. Please feel free to drop me a line or an email next time you're planning to see us--I can set aside an extra bunk at my place (whats another wench in the house?) so you can save precious coin on lodgings if you are so inclined.

'Till next time-- stay saucy and safe!

Katie O'Connell, friendly neighborhood Librarian (aka da Bookwench)

I was able to see the wonderful Rogues rogue the queen herself last year. It was so much fun watching a slight shade of red creep into her cheeks. I simple adore our queen here in Michigan. The Rogues really are very good at what they do it seems. Perhaps someday I will be privy to what is whispered into the ear of the rogued.

Keep up the good job gentlemen
