The Webmistress has asked for volunteers for Moderating the board and local forums. I've volunteered. Is anyone else interested?

well, I only volunteered for Local 13... there's another thread that the Webmistress posted in Hussie's Hangout, I believe. She'd be the one to tell you.

Local mods would ONLY be reponsible for handling theitr own local's forum. What it entails is deleting inappropriate posts (like SPAM) - and NOT deleting posts just ciz you don't agree with them. If there is a repeat offender, post-wise, you'd explain the situation to me, and I would set up an IP/nickname ban on them. We have almost no problems on the boards - truly, in 9 years, I can count on my fingers how many posts I have had to delete. Its a low maintenance gig, but because I'm not always around, I would like to delegate local reps to handle their own areas.
