Scarby fair and food

Like the title :P Well I just saw on Food TV the Scarby fair, they were talking about the Turkey legs there. Not a huge amount of time on the show but I got a kick out of it non the less.

The REAL food at Scarborough is at Victors!! If ever you should visit - make a point to stop bye Victors!! (He's close to the Jousting Field!) Gourmet Italian Food! :singdanc: MMmmm Mmmmm! None of that bulk, pre-packaged stuff here. Daily specials. The menu is always different. Desserts to die for!

Heckfire, I drive over 500 miles each year for Scarby food! :lol:

OK, not really - it's because Scarby is such a fun faire and I have dear friends Rae and Kae to visit - oh and Vada and Shadow; Isa and the Captain; beloved members of the Scarby cast ...

But the food is awesome! Victor's place is terrific - as is the bakery ... omg ... croissants to die for; fruit tarts, chocolate concoctions ... sigh. So much other good stuff, too. I'm SO over turkey legs, but Scarby definitely has KCRF beat in the culinary arts!

I have not been to Scarby in many years. I'm going to have to make some arrangements to make a trip up there. Not only for the food, but mainly to meet fellow Wenches.

victors canneloni is heavenly!!! Don't get me started on the bakery...they even do sugar free for us diabetics..you have to ask for it...Countess looking forward to seeing you again!

The show was about food that had the name of body parts, so heads of lettace, turkey legs, lady fingers etc.

If I'm not mistaken, that bakery is also Victor's handy work! The man's a genius, I tell you!

Too bad Victor doesn't post here ... I'd give him a few Karma Points!!
Oh geez ... how more more days before faire starts?!?! :yum:
Now I'm hungry and I don't this this "Lean Cuisine" is going to cut it!
