I'm playing in a custom world, called "the Great Forest"... every Friday.
Elven bard, straight up, no multiclassing. Mostly because we're only 2nd level... (after playing for a whole semester... *impatient*)
Nifty thing, I failed a saving throw, and so I had to pick up this sword that talks to me. My attempts to get rid of it have also failed. (so many "1"s in a row. sheesh.)
It likes blood. It reeeeally likes blood.
I feel an alignment shift coming on. sigh.
Anyone else in a fun campaign? :?:

Ohhh. DH has run a few and I am *"allowed" to play most times. Recently we played in a pirate themed game. I'm gonna miss that game!
* But "allowed" I mean that he always has room, but in order to assure that other players don't feel like I'm "getting off easy becasue I'm the GM's wife" I have to play 2x as well and be 4x as creative to get extra :D

I'm playing an Elf Rouge, but we haven't managed to play in well over a month. Stupid conflicting work schedules. This is my first time playing D&D and I've been having a great time :)

I've been wanting to both run and play in some old AD&D games. I've got a ton of characters to chose from. I'm trying to get a gaming group going in my area, but I can't really host it at my small apt. I'm a Forgotten Realms girl and play exclusively 1st & 2nd Ed AD&D.

Mmmmm...I miss 2nd Ed. I finally understand THAC0 and they change th rules! :P Right now we're playing 3.5. I'm playing an 8th lvl human wizard -- our DM made us pick our classes out of a hat this time. I used to stay away from spellcasters...I had a hard enough time learning the basics without fireballing the entire party! And in another campaign I have my 7th lvl elven ranger -- she's gotta be one of my favorites.

I played in a game before I moved from NYC. I had a cleric and had to roll to see which diety he served. I got a diety of pestillence, and the DM decided that the process of learning the rites and rituals drove my char nuts. So I called him Brother Scabius, and he's roam around giving people diseases of inconvienence. ( like prolonged flatulence, scabies, trench foot, etc.) He wound up buying a chicken and the pair dressed alike.
I wasn't allowed to play in any more D&D games without prior char approval after that.

Dani- I miss good ol' version 2, but no one will run it around here. *pout*
So, we're playing 3.5, with lots, and lots, and lots of house rules. It's... interesting...

I am going to be in my first campaign in a week, in a custom world. The DM is great, but quite evil sometimes, and he knows I can't stand bugs and spiders, so I am counting on the game being filled with them. I am playing a swashbuckler, and am quite looking forward to it.

I DM for a group that meats at my place every Sunday night. Play for hours on end, sometimes till one of us has to go to work. They've been playing this campaign for almost 6 months, most of them are still level 3.
I like to keep characters a little hungry.
Not quite sure whats happening next, I need to rewrite some of it since 2 of the chars died last week. Now the party's too weak to throw them up against what I had in mind.
Last semester my eng prof guaranteed me an A in her class, she let me do my final paper on D&D (specifically the changes the game has seen thru the years).

That is brilliant. :)

I am....hubby is DMing for the first time, and it's a lot of fun....we keep ending up getting into other situations while trying to complete our original mission. I play a fairly bada$$ elf fighter. As far as leveling, I went from level 1 to level 3 in 2 sessions; once I update my character from last night's session, I will be level 4, very close to level 5.
I've been gaming since 1981. We try to get games together still, but it's so hard with this "life" stuff interfering. I'm suffering withdrawal! I had a dream about gaming the other night.

Diablo 2 (pc game) makes a desent substitute.....in other words you'll still crave a D&D game, but you wont want to kill anyone over it.
